Well…crap…

Well, it has been several months since I last wrote a blog entry (my first one *coughcough*) so I thought I would write another one. Well, it has been several months since I last wrote a blog entry (my first one *coughcough*) so I thought I would write another one and blab on about what has happened. Unfortunately, real life has taken precedence, and I haven’t been able to bring much online yet, but I have made some decisions on what I am going to bring to the public and what I am going to keep hidden. At least, just for now. I have also decided to flex my writing muscle and decided that one of my projects is going to be written in first person, which is a new experience for me. I have typically stuck with the third person as I was taught, growing up, that third person is the format in which you write. But then I thought of Fledgling by Octavia Butler, one of my favorite books. Fledgling is written in first person, and it really transports you into the book and the world in which the story takes place. I would highly recommend this book – especially if you like stories where vampire-like beings walk amongst us. But yeah! First person writing – I’m not going to say which project will be chosen but I am excited to bring it to the world to read.
